In relation to relations

There could be a number of paths, which, depending on the personal character of the concerned fellow, could be more or less strictly followed by men to reach a pacific state of spirit in regard to relations he maintains to the natural objects and God’s creatures alike.

1. A man possesing a positive frame of mind might consider a positivist attitude. With such, he would only pick the aspect of the relation most endearing to him and pay no attention to the less desired sides of it. With such an approach any relation could be molded according to one’s expectation, although departure from reality and unforeseen difficulties as consequence are risks to count upon.

2. Negative relation to relation is shaped by lust for unknown, but only in familiar surroundings. That is, upon framing out the features of a relation, that are certain to be so abhorrable as to be avoided in any case, one is left with only with what he has ordered for himself, or so he imagines.

3. Or, the path which especially attracts myself, is the way of the pathfinders and trailblazers of olden days, who once couth thro’ the unpassable forests and unintangible jungles of the New World as well as the petrified high castles of dogma of the Mother Empire to test not only newer grounds and exotic countries but also their own intimate character… whatever. You get my point. 😀

  1. Commenting on your own work, Bio?

I’ll tell you what I think. I think it was a beautiful collection of words. But not flawless. At first, you talk about relations to natural objects. And at the last paragraph, all of a sudden, you’re fleeing away. You’re quiting it, rather than staying in one place and dealing with it. At least, that was my impression. Reminds of a cold-feeted runaway bride. I mean, if that is your style, fine.

  5. I think Bio should quote the source of the material she is using. Sorry to be so brute, but people should learn how to cite and quote other people’s ideas and written works properly.
